Cheese cloth: a gauze fabric made from one hundred percent European hemp. This fabric has multiple applications e.g. panels, reinforcing bio based composites and filtering (semi-)liquid substances.
The hemp has been grown and processed in Europe, using no synthetic agents and working according to the required REACH rules.
The colour of undyed hemp is determined by the process of retting, the initial processing stage during which the cut plant is left on the field and the fibres are loosened by the action of rain, sun, fungi and bacteria. The length of this process affects the colour, so colour differences are possible between different batches.
